Synopsis

Hot Steamy Rejected Mate Possessive Alpha Werewolf Fated Mates

On the night of the Blood Moon, Selene Drake watched her childhood betrothed, Alpha Jackson of the Silvercrest Pack, publicly reject her in front of five hundred wolves for an ambitious council elder's daughter. Stripped of rank, cast out into the merciless snow of rogue territory, Selene prepares to freeze to death—until a beast of pure shadow and golden eyes emerges from the blizzard. Kaelen Ward, the feared sovereign Alpha of the Shadow Ridge Pack, doesn't tear her apart. The moment their eyes lock, an ancient, royal Lycan bond snaps into place with concussive, carnal fury. Kaelen is colossal, untamed, and fiercely territorial; he declares Selene his supreme Luna and vows to crush Silvercrest under his claws. But as Selene's dormant lunar blood awakens and ancient shifter wars ignite, the raw, primal passion between them threatens to consume both their bodies and souls.

Chapter 1

The Blood Moon Rejection

The Crimson Moon hung heavy in the midnight sky above the Blackwood Valley, bathing the sacred stones of the Silvercrest Pack in an eerie, blood-red luminescence. Five hundred wolves stood packed in tight rings around the ceremonial dais, their breath misting in the freezing autumn air.

Selene Drake stood in the center of the ring, her fingers trembling slightly within the folds of her silk ceremonial dress. For three years, since her eighteenth birthday, she had worn the braided silver cord of a betrothed Luna. Tonight, Jackson Vance was to inherit the mantle of Alpha from his retiring father and finalize their union before the ancestors.

Selene looked toward Jackson. At twenty-four, he was tall, broad-shouldered, with sandy blond hair and piercing blue eyes. But there was no warmth in his gaze tonight—only cold ambition and ruthless disdain.

Beside him stood Talia Sterling, daughter of high pack council elder Malakor Sterling. Talia was draped in ermine and crimson velvet, a mocking smirk playing upon her ruby lips.

Jackson stepped forward onto the center stone, his voice amplified by Alpha command, reverberating through the amphitheater.

"Silvercrest wolves!" Jackson boomed, his gaze sweeping over the crowd before landing mercilessly upon Selene. "A pack is only as strong as its sovereign leaders. The mantle of Luna demands unmatched pedigree, political alliance, and unyielding power. For too long, our traditions have shackled our future to childhood arrangements."
